Heather Joy Puskarich was born and raised in Dallas Texas and is currently based in Pittsburgh. She received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Pittsburgh and is currently working on an MFA in Sculpture and Dimensional Studies specializing in Glass at Alfred University. Her work consists of traditional darkroom photographic processes and contemporary imagery in glass processes such as photo resist sandblasting, fusible films and metal blasting and combines flat glass techniques with hot casting incorporating sculptural elements and installation practices.
